I have read at least half a dozen books by people with widely diverse interests, but they are all saying the same thing–our kids are being systematically brainwashed into the atheistic worldview that is secular humanism. This book is the only one that explains exactly how the educators are doing it. It shows parents exactly what to look for, and how speech codes disguise what is really being taught. I know there are parents out there who think this is only going on in California and Massachusetts, but I can testify that these techniques have been used in Kansas for at least 20 years. They are the reason I pulled my kids out of the public schools. When my son was inducted into the gifted program, I couldn’t understand why they had to do psychological profiles on him. Now I know. I spent some time in the education program at one of the public universities in Kansas and dropped out of it because they were training future teachers in the techniques described in this book. This book is a must read if only because it shows parents what to look for.

Whether you lean to the left or the right or are middle of the road this is a must read for all parents, educators and students! This book is not an attack on teachers. It is a revealing look at what is going on and the curriculum in today’s public schools. Few realize the federal mandates and control imposed on all public schools and even fewer realize the basis of the curriculum which is being taught to our children, that often includes politicians and educators themselves. The book reveals the influences of the “Hegelian dialectic” and the psychology used to shape our children into what the secular progressives would have them to be. It reveals how our children are stripped of their values and lead to accept the values of an almost anything goes socialistic society. Only those far left and extremely liberal will not enjoy this book, and that is only because it reveals their dirty little secrets.

Before I read this book I already knew that our public education system had serious problems. Reading this book was not only informative it was also scary. It puts in detail how the public school system is brainwashing innocent children and taking the place of the parent.

It points out that the education system is undermining the parents role as the upbringer and spiritual guardian of their own children telling them that everything their parents teach them is wrong.

Also many insert their socialist and pro-marxist agendas into the minds of children from Kindergarden and up.

The recomendation is to pull your children out of public school NOW!!!

Public Education Against America reveals what’s going on in public school that most parents don’t know or refuse to believe. There really are people in high places pulling the strings to ensure your kids don’t acquire the reading skills necessary to develop a good vocabulary or the writing skills necessary to develop those all-important thinking skills. If your child can think, they can’t control him or her the way they do the millions of functionally illiterate public school graduates who depend on government support because their lack of learning makes it impossible for them to suppport themselves. Even worse, the same folks limiting core knowledge and thinking skills are successfully brainwashing your kids with the fundamentals of Humanism — Darwinism, Moral Relativism and Socialism. If you don’t believe it, read Maddoux’ book and scores of others like it that are being published every year. These books are all saying the same thing — someone is trying to control knowledge, all knowledge. That someone is your enemy and mine. Please get your kids out of Big Brother’s schools before it’s too late!

  5. This book will probably reach only the Christian right, and that would be a shame, because there is a lot of good information in this book that applies to all parents who have children in public school. It also affects all those who plan to live in the United States for the next 30 years.

For instance, the first chapter is on schools that not only indoctrinate young children in Islam, but require the children to actually practice Islam by memorizing a prayer in Arabic and actually praying that prayer, and by fasting at the right time, by taking a Muslim name for themselves, etc.

Other chapters deal with indoctrination of children against patriotism and against war. The book quotes David Horowitz that, “There are more Marxists on the faculties of American colleges than in the entire former communist bloc.” (p. 65).

The main problem with this book is not only its restriction to the Christian right, but the fact that the author does not understand the full extent of the threat we are up against. When he is not reciting the usual epithets of “political correctness” or worse still “liberalism”, he repeatedly calls it “secular humanism.” The New Ideology is not humanism. It is not even liberalism. Yes, it is NOT liberalism. Liberals would allow you to have your say and not call you names for saying it. And the threat of the New Ideology is not that it is secular. If you want to know what the New Ideology is and learn more about how it has undermined education in this country, read While America Sleeps: How Islam, Immigration and Indoctrination Are Destroying America From Within. This New Ideology is formidable and its control of public education is a threat to the very existence of the United States as a democracy.
