While not the most “go-to” on my bookshelf, the title of this book is NOT misleading. It is a very PRACTICAL guide to special education as a profession, including but not limited to several pages defining the ever-changing list of acronyms associated with the profession! It has an in-depth look at the 2004 IDEA revision, etc.
