I cannot give this book a very good review. It is not aimed at a broad audience; it is strictly for researchers in science education. As a science educator, I did not find the text very helpful.

It is hard for me to evaluate this. I am writing as a college instructor in the sciences. I often read educational material to be a better prof. I don’t think this is aimed at someone like me. Some interesting topics but quite a bit of educational jargon, and some of the educational approaches and thinking seem more targeted at academics in the field of education rather than those who actually teach. Still, it seems a worthwhile and important topic.
